Internship OverviewBased out of our home office in Chapel Hill, NC, the Customer Relations team is responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and supporting our Sales and Production Departments. There’s no coffee fetching in this internship. You’ll learn best practices, business communication skills and have the opportunity to work directly with our clients and staff in our fast-paced environment. Available Positions • SERVICE INTERNSHIP • • OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP • TrainingCustomer Relations training takes place in May, and will be your opportunity to learn what you will need to know to succeed this summer. Training is paid, and attendance is mandatory. You will first be trained on every aspect of the company from customer service to graphics to sales, with heavy emphasis on computer, phone, paperwork and public relations skills. Then you will learn about our database system and your daily and weekly duties. You will also assist in the 2011 sales rep training, attend sessions to gain sales knowledge, and get to know summer sales reps. CompensationThe Customer Relations Internship is paid. An internship with credit hours towards graduation may be available. Check with your department advisor for details. HoursThe position begins after May training and lasts approximately 14 weeks. You will work Mon-Fri (the occasional Saturday) and work weeks typically exceed 32 hours. Positions are available during the school year based on summer performance.
