Internship OverviewUniversity Directories offers part-time, paid internships for students in Chapel Hill, NC during the academic year. Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for working with our existing customers on their advertising programs for the next editions of our publications. This position requires no prior experience. All reps complete a training program covering the fundamentals of the sales process and the skills required to be successful in this role. This is a demanding position that requires committed, hardworking and self-motivated individuals with an interest in working with people and being a team player. CompensationUnlike most internships University Directories interns are paid. The compensation for the Inside Sales Internship consists of an hourly wage plus commission. A typical Inside Sales Rep can expect to earn an average of $13 per hour. This internship is open to all majors and requires no nights or weekends. Reps set their own work schedule around their classes with a required number of hours per week. The first training session begins in late October. Summer opportunities may also be available.
